The 2D/3D display mode is set during the Design File Setup.

1. Select (Design File Setup). In the Drawing Setup dialog, click on the 3D tab.
   
   
   
2. The 3D Setup section offers the following three display modes:

   2D: for working in 2D display mode only.

   or

   3D: for working in 3D display mode only.

   or

   2D/3D: for working in both 2D and 3D display mode.

   This setting can be changed at any time but will have no impact on symbols that have already been placed in the drawing.
